Howdy,
Finally I am going to share my experience or bakbak with you from this blog. When I landed in US; I could settle down immediately because of warm welcome by all my dear friends and obvious everything was set by Dr. Sunil. But when Sunil told me about the decision to move to UK after two months I was scared. I did not want to lose my friends and Texas (!!). The positive side of this is I can work here (at least in McD). Finally we started preparing for visa applications etc. My mischief (you can say the great karname) made the visa more difficult. Officials did not take my fingerprints because my finger had a cut (don’t ask me how … I wanted to make some delicious dish which turned into this disaster). At last UK visa office felt pity on me and approved my application. When I got my stamping done we started to cut off our stuff that we had in our apartment.
I was very happy to give away all Sunil’s bachelor life’s stuff but then I had to sacrifice many things (though they were bought from walmart). I am very thankful to Vichika and Soumya; they saved me from doing a sin of throwing annam. And the fighting started for what to take and what not to take. Insipte of baggage allowance of 23kgX4; I could not make everything fit in. After many discussions, packing n unpacking I could convince Sunilji to make a extra bag. That’s a big trouble to Kaushik and Vichika as we kept the extra box with them. Sorry guys. But without the great help of them I would not have completed all my packing and moving easier.
I was flattered by gifts and parties from all friends and making our stay in CS memorable. Special thanks to Somabhai and Deepika for 3 idiots movie.
